The groundbreaking model through which Alice educated rural farm children in Italy captured the attention of leading figures in the field โ including Maria Montessori. Several innovations developed in Alice's schools have influenced elementary education across the globe. Cristina Caracchini, Languages and Cultures, is curator and project coorindator of Alice in Brussels along with collaborators in Italy. (https://www.uwo.ca/arts/research/index.html)
