Tomorrow, March 20, let's wear silly, crazy, funny, or mis-matched socks for Down Syndrone Awareness day. We tell the children that "different" is cool!!

Introducing the "I love Liz Fund"

As almost everyone knows, our Assistant Supervisor, Liz, had a car ran over her feet on Saturday. She has a broken left ankle in a cast, and a foot sprain & fracture on the right in a boot; and has very little mobility at this time. The children have been able to video call - asking things to make Liz laugh, cry, feel loved and greatly missed!!

She was issued crutches but due to a previous shoukder injury, a walker would be a better choice ... if she had one. She also needs some adaptive devices to manage daily functions. She is waiting to hear what is going to happen through insurance. Meanwhile our staff are starting a fund to offer Liz assistance & we are inviting you to contribute cash or gift cards if you're able. (We cannot offer receipts - we're just helping someone out that we care about.) If you are unable to contribute, that is absolutely understood. Liz also loves hand-made cards that have been written or coloured on by the children.

We'll assemble the "We Love Liz Fund" from March 19th - 27th and get it to her on March 28th. For Gift Cards, we suggest Door Dash, Walmart, President's Choice, other grocery or food delivery cards.
