LONDON ELECTION 2026 INFORMATION:

We are pleased to share the following information, collected and distributed by the London Accessibility Coalition, of which we are proud to be a part.

First, here is a website developed by the coalition; Here you can review your mayoral and city councillor candidates’ positions on accessibility. A list of questions was developed and sent to all candidates. Candidates who responded have outlined their accessibility priorities.

We encourage you to take a look at the responses and consider what they tell you about each candidate’s commitment to accessibility.

Everyone has the right to vote. Your vote is important, and can shape the priorities of our city. Advance polling is open now and election day is the October 26th.

I've also included some more information below that has been provided by the city outlining the tools and services available during the elections.

The following tools and services will be available during the 2026 Municipal Election and the website with more information can be found here:

Magnifiers at all voting locations.

Candidate lists and voting instructions in braille and large print at each voting location.
Pictorial voting instructions at all voting locations.

Ballots designed using accessible fonts, sizes and colours.

Accessible ballot-marking devices at all Advance Vote locations. These devices support independent voting using sip-and-puff technology, paddles or a tactile device.

On-site American Sign Language interpretation throughout Advance Vote at City Hall.
All polling clerks have been trained on providing accessible customer service and all persons are able to bring a support person with them to vote.

Advanced Polls are open from October 1, 3, 5, 8-10th and can be found here:

Voting Day is October 26th from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm. Do you know where you should vote? https://london.ca/government/council-civic-administration/elections/information-voters

Voting is your right. Make sure you vote in the election if you are able to do so.

🎂✨ Building Independence, One Skill at a Time

Sometimes, meaningful progress looks like baking a cake. 💚

At All & Every, we believe that building independence starts with meeting individuals where they’re at and supporting them to develop skills at their own pace.

Whether it’s learning to follow a recipe, measuring ingredients, safely using kitchen tools, cleaning up, or simply gaining confidence in the kitchen, everyday activities can provide valuable opportunities to practise life skills and independence.

Our support isn’t about taking over. It’s about providing the right amount of guidance, encouragement, and support so that individuals can take an active role in their own learning and experiences.

And, of course, there’s a pretty great reward at the end of a baking session! 🎂

Independence looks different for everyone. Our goal is to help each person build the skills and confidence to do more of what matters to them. 💚
