Hadith 6:
How is Jafari Shia?!?!?
حمدويه، قال: حدثنا محمد بن الحسين، عن الحكم بن مسكين الثقفي، قال: حدثني أبو حمزة معقل العجلي، عن عبد اللّه بن أبي يعفور، قال
قلت لأبي عبد اللّه (عليه السلام): واللّه لو فلقت رمانة بنصفين، فقلت هذا حرام وهذا حلال، لشهدت أن الذي قلت حلال حلال، وان الذي قلت حرام حرام، فقال: رحمك اللّه

Narrated from Abdullah bin Abi Yafur:
“I said to Abu Abdillah Imam Sadiq (عليه السلام): "By Allah if you split a pomegranate into two halfs, and then you said that the first half is forbidden (haram) and the second half is permissible (halal), then I would testify that what you said is permissible is permissible, and what you said is forbidden is forbidden."
So the Imam said: "May Allah have mercy upon you."

Praise be to Allaah (swt)

It is a Sunnah of our Beloved Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) to visit the sick. We should always visit those who are sick because it helps us to reflect and take heed, as those who are ill are close to Allah Ta'ala. We have only to consider that the sick person has no one to call but Allah, nothing to reflect on but Allah, and his condition reminds us of the blessing of health.

Prophet Mohammad(sawaw) declared that “Tomorrow I will award the Standard of the Islamic forces to a man who loves Allah(swt) and His Prophet(sawaw) and Allah(SWT) and His Prophet(sawaw) love him. He is the one who attacks forcefully and does not run away from the battlefield and he will not return until Allah(swt) grants victory on his hand”.

(4209) Ghazwa of Khaibar

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مَسْلَمَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا حَاتِمٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي عُبَيْدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ سَلَمَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ كَانَ عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَبِي طَالِبٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ تَخَلَّفَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي خَيْبَرَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَكَانَ رَمِدًا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ أَنَا أَتَخَلَّفُ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَلَحِقَ بِهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَلَمَّا بِتْنَا اللَّيْلَةَ الَّتِي فُتِحَتْ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ "لَأُعْطِيَنَّ الرَّايَةَ غَدًا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَوْ لَيَأْخُذَنَّ الرَّايَةَ غَدًا رَجُلٌ يُحِبُّهُ اللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُ يُفْتَحُ عَلَيْهِ"، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَنَحْنُ نَرْجُوهَا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقِيلَ:‏‏‏‏ هَذَا عَلِيٌّ فَأَعْطَاهُ،‏‏‏‏ فَفُتِحَ عَلَيْهِ.

SAHIH HADITH:

Narrated Salama: `Ali remained behind the Prophet during the Ghazwa of Khaibar as he was suffering from eye trouble. He then said, (How can) I remain behind the Prophet, and followed him. So when he slept on the night of the conquest of Khaibar, the Prophet said, I will give the flag tomorrow, or tomorrow the flag will be taken by a man who is loved by Allah and His Apostle, and (Khaibar) will be conquered through him, (with Allah's help) While every one of us was hoping to have the flag, it was said, Here is `Ali and the Prophet gave him the flag and Khaibar was conquered through him (with Allah's Help).

Ali ibn Talib (A.S.): Carrier of Flag of Muslim’s Army:
Abu Bakr carried the flag of the Muslims for the first two days of the siege of Naim but it did not fall to him and stress and exhaustion overtook them. The following morning, the Prophet (S.A.W.) had prayed Fajr Salah and called Ali Ibn Talib (A.S.) and gave him the flag. Ali carried it on the third day, and he achieved the conquest. One report indicates that the flag-bearer before Ali (A.S.) was Umar ibn Khattab, not Abu Bakr, but this is a weak report.

"O you who have believed, when [the adhān] is called for the prayer on the day of Jumu’ah [Friday], then proceed to the remembrance of Allāh and leave trade. That is better for you, if you only knew".
