March 8th is !

International Women’s Day (IWD) is for everyone working towards gender equity — celebrating all women’s achievements, raising awareness, and inspiring change. It is also a moment to recognize the ongoing realities that shape women’s lives, including gender-based violence (GBV) which disproportionately affects women, girls, trans and gender-diverse people.

This year’s IWD theme, , highlights the power of collective care and action.
In the work to end GBV, “giving” can look like amplifying survivor expertise, advocating for change, deepening collective knowledge, strengthening community supports, mentoring emerging leaders, and taking steps, big or small, towards gender equity.

Through giving, we can build safer, more equitable communities for all.

Explore CREVAWC's projects for tools and knowledge that support meaningful action and strengthen efforts to prevent and address GBV.
