This might be the first time I shop at Food Basics in a long time but I can’t miss out on cheese for $4! Where are you shopping this week?

I’m so excited for in season produce and sales…there’s not much else on our list. What’s on your grocery list this week?

June?! I can’t believe we’re here already…I’m stocking up on snacks and ice cream this week. What’s on your list?

The biggest way we save money on groceries is stocking up on meats when they’re on sale

In April we stocked up on hotdogs. Last week we stocked up on steak. This week we’ll be stocking up on boneless skinless chicken breast!

What strategy do you feel saves you the most money on groceries?

Life is busy over here! I’ve heard May is the new December and judging by my calendar, I would say that’s true for us. Trying to decide which grocery store to shop at this week, where are you headed?

It’s gonna be May?! This is baby month for us and I really don’t know how we got here! We’re buying eggs and raspberries over here…what’s on your list?

Hey April, where’d ya go? Hoping May brings better deals and more sunshine! What’s on your grocery list this week?

I feel like the deals are very limited this week! My best suggestion is to shop somewhere that price matches so you can still get the deals without driving around and using all your gas 🚗

Creating a budget that we actually use and track our spending has helped us be accountable for where our money goes. When we don’t track, we think we’re doing well until the credit card bill shows up 🫣

But big financial goals means staying on top of our spending. Surviving on one income as a family of 5 (soon do be 6!) is hard, but staying home with my boys is something that is important to me…even if it means tracking our spending and lots of side hustles to allow us to go on trips and play sports
