grad Brooke Meloche is Western's first student to graduate with a combined degree in integrated science and mechanical engineering. Outside the classroom, she was a Western all-girl cheerleader, a pole vaulter and a mentor for the next generation of young girls interested in science.

Raised in a family where generosity was always a priority, Paul learned early that giving back matters. After her passing, Paul unexpectedly discovered his mom's 40-year history of giving, which inspired him and his husband to Western in their will.

prof Elizabeth Greene discovered many of the Roman leather shoes that are part of a new exhibition at Bata Shoe Museum.
This exhibit showcases decades of research at Vindolanda, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where Elizabeth has been uncovering artifacts for decades.
