Nathan does not just show up to compete. He shows up to work. Coaching our sparring athletes throughout the competition, then stepping onto the floor himself in the 18+ division and going out twice with a combined score on the line. 🥈 2nd in -70kg Point Sparring. He made Team Canada and that is a tough division with a solid result. Really proud of everything Nathan brought to this competition. 🇨🇦

Sensei Jake came to the 2026 WKC National Championships wearing two hats. He was on the floor coaching the Junior Traditional Team Kata divisions and working with the sparring athletes, then stepped out himself in the 18+ division and went out twice with everything on the line. 🥇 1st in -60kg Point Sparring. Competitor and coach, he made Team Canada and that is a result worth being proud of. 🇨🇦

Where do we even start. Eight divisions. Eight medals. At the 2026 WKC National Championships Eccaia stepped into the 16-17 category and just got to work. Team forms on Day 1 with Torin (with a combined 3hrs of creation and practice), then back out competing and coaching across two more days because yes, while she was out there earning her own results she was also on the floor for several of our youngest athletes, many of whom you have already seen in these posts. 🥇 1st in Creative Weapons, 🥇 1st in Open Weapons, 🥇 1st in Freestyle Forms, 🥇 1st in Extreme Forms, 🥈 2nd in Open Team Forms, 🥈 2nd in Classical, 🥉 3rd in Hardstyle, 🥉 3rd in Chinese. Four golds, two silvers, two bronzes. She made Team Canada. Eccaia pours everything into this sport and into these athletes and days like this show exactly why. We are so proud of her. 🇨🇦
