Congratulations to Mrs. Buck and our Grade 6 LE Lions for winning the TVDSB Earth Day challenge🌳

This morning, we had our final Terrific Kid (TK) assembly of the 2025/26 school year. Students were celebrated for demonstrating the character traits of the month ROAR throughout June. As well, an Academic certificate was awarded to 1 student/class.

We also acknowledged our Lexia users, our Knitting Club, our Grade 8 graduates as well as as our staff that are moving on to other schools. You will be missed! Once a 🦁, Always a 🦁

Also, families of those who were recipients of an award were invited to attend! This was so wonderful to see the support for our students

Many years ago, Dad had a special way of celebrating local kids and their accomplishments. If a child brought in a good report card, there was a good chance they'd be treated to a free order of fries.

Back then, there was no social media or organized promotion behind it. It was simply Dad being Dad — encouraging young people, building relationships, and looking out for the kids in our community. He had a few favourites he mentored over the years and loved recognizing their hard work.

When we started carrying Shaw's Ice Cream a few years ago, I wanted to continue that tradition in a way that more children could enjoy. That's how our Report Card Ice Cream tradition began.

We're proud to carry on Dad's legacy of celebrating local kids and rewarding their efforts, one scoop at a time. 🍦❤️

Grade 8 Parents🎓

We know that sometimes our graduates feel the year is complete after their celebratory evening, however, please remind them to return for the traditional Grad Luncheon at NOON tomorrow hosted by North Park Community Church in the library.

Congratulations to our Grade 8's who celebrated their graduation this evening 👩‍🎓. We can't wait to see what the future holds for you‼️
