Here are some amazing insects our students have found recently.

I love our gem rewards and school trips. Appleland station, Storybook Gardens, Original Kids Theatre, Stratford Festival, swimming, radio station, movie/pj days, Halloween party, African Lion Safari, hot chocolate days….there’s always something to look forward to.

Session 8/ Summer Camp: Pirates! We were blessed to have Nic and Eilish join us in our adventures. The three crews worked through challenges to advance as a team on our map. We kept our minds sharp and had a blast with friends new and old.

Session 7: African Geography. We took a trip to the African Lion Safari, learned two games from Ghana, beaded Kenyan bracelets, compared and contrasted landscapes, mythologies, languages and histories of this diverse continent …so much learning and so much fun!

Watching the forest reawaken after winter is so special! Our nature walks are always full of interesting finds.

Session 6: Woodworking. Children learned to measure, mark, cut, drill, hammer, sand and paint. We also learned about types of wood, how trees grow and safety.

Celebrating the solar eclipse at the GayLea Dairy museum. Thank you for hosting such a great event!

Session 5: Drama. This was a highlight for the year! We made sets, learned our lines, planned our choreography, learned about types of theatre, self-control, improv, and so much more.
