Lockport Play and Learn Preschool

Our last couple weeks of Preschool we planted, we painted, we celebrated summer birthdays, we had our farewell parties and a Teddy Bear picnic!

As we end our year we want to say Thank You to all the parents for all the presents, the very kind words and especially for trusting us with your children! A big thank you to the children for all the smiles, the hugs and the fun you brought everyday (and maybe some tears too.😊) We hope everyone has a great summer. To the children coming back in September we look forward to seeing you. Good luck to all the children going to Kindergarten in the fall, we know you will do great things! ❤️

May brought us flowers! We made flowers with coffee filters and peppers. We also planted a seed to take home and watch our flower grow.

We celebrated Canada by making a Canada flag with our class. We practiced cutting with scissors and gluing the red pieces on. We also used pot scrubbers to paint a maple leaf.

We finally got some warm weather so A Camping We Will go. We made a ‘fire’ and sat around it reading a story and singing songs. We made Northern Lights with chalk and we made real s’mores. They were so yummy.

The next week we were Down on the Farm. We painted tracks with tractors and we ‘planted’ and counted carrots. We also ‘cut’ the grass. 😉

We painted a picture letting our imaginations guide us. The children who are going to kindergarten next year will keep theirs a surprise for grad. 🤫😊

Dinosaurs, dinosaurs, dinosaurs. Stomping and stamping, roaring and playing we did it all.
Earth Day!! We love our Earth. We made our earth and coloured it with shaving cream and paint. We also went on a walk to clean up. We talked about what can be recycled and what needs to go in the garbage. Reduce, Reuse and Recycle. 🌎♻️

Leprechaun Traps, Pot of Gold, Easter Eggs, Easter Baskets, Hat Day, Jersey Day, Silly Socks, Silly Hair, Spring Break, Fork/Spoon Flowers, a Pretty Spring Flower Garden and our Open House is what we have been up to this last month. Time is flying, spring is here and we are excited for all the great things to come.
