Another busy and exciting day at Winston Churchill Elementary! 🐾

Today we celebrated our Kindergarten students and welcomed families to our annual SCC Family BBQ. It was wonderful to see so many Wildcats and their families enjoying time together as we wrap up another great school year.

A huge thank you to the Cenovus Cares Team for volunteering their time and supporting our school community; to L & L Oilfield for the BBQ; and to Mr. C. for keeping the BBQ running!

We appreciate everyone who helped make today such a success. 💚💛

🐾📗☀️Thank you to our local 7-Eleven for donating toys, books, coupons for our ‘Slurp into Summer’ reading incentive program. Our goal is to help our Wildcats to build daily reading habits that will help them read every day during the summer holidays. We were also gifted a cookie for every Wildcat today!☀️📙🐾

🪶🦅🐾🧡Indigenous Games Day is under way at Winston. We are grateful to Mr. Chocan, Winddancer, and their team leaders for sharing important cultural teachings while having a whole lot of fun!🧡🐾🌳🪶

👨‍🌾💛🐾Our grade 2 students went back in time today, as they visited the Frenchman Butte Heritage Centre! Our Wildcats learned about the lives of early Saskatchewan settlers as they explored the museum and all of the engaging experiences that it has to offer.🐾💚🚜

🌳🐾Our grade 4 students participated in the Roots of Empathy program, where they learned about feelings, relationships, and empathy through visits from a parents and baby throughout the school year. We are grateful for this partnership!🐾🌳

🏃‍♂️🏅 Congratulations to all of our Wildcats who represented Winston Churchill School so well at the LPSD Track Meet last night! Your hard work, determination, and sportsmanship made us proud. Way to go, Wildcats!🐾

A big thank you to everyone who donated, supported our fundraisers, and helped make this project possible. Your generosity and support have added even more fun to our playground, and our students are loving it! We truly appreciate everyone who helped bring these exciting spinner additions to our school.
