To this wonderful team that has given endless time, dedication and love 💙 to our kids- Thank you for all that you have done to make Barr Colony a great place to play, learn and grow together.
It takes a village to raise a child and this has been an amazing village to be a part of.

Yesterday was an important day for our village. Our students learned about the Métis jig, pow wow dancing and smudging. As a whole school we danced a round dance that held special significance for us on one of our last days together as a school. Together we celebrated National Indigenous Peoples Day and we danced a few last dances together. A school that dances together makes memories together. Watch for our video still to come.

June is Pride Month. We celebrate and support inclusion, diversity, and equity. Creating a sense of belonging in our schools continues to be our priority.

Today we took a school photo for the little memory book that everyone will receive at the end of the year 💙🧡💙🧡.

Today our flag football team scored the FIRST EVER touchdown of ANY Barr Colony football team in the history of flag football. We actually got 5 touchdowns in total today! Way to go Bulldogs! Thanks LCHS Barons coaches!!
