We had a surprise assembly, banners, and luncheon for our fabulous leader, Mr. Mather, the other day, as he is about to retire. As a community, all we can do is wish him well and hope he drops by for visits from time to time. Thank you, Mr. Mather, for all the contributions you have made over the years to ensure QE School is one filled with love, laughter, and learning. As you go about your future, don't forget to be respectful, safe, honest, and responsible. Have a wonderful Summer!! You have earned it!!

The Grade 5's invited Mr. Mather to climb to the top of the school so the students could watch their "eggs" drop from the sky!!! The idea was to create a contraption to keep them safe -- only 1/3 were successful --lol!!! The rest crashed and cracked --lol!!! It was a windy day to say the least, so some of the eggs had a ride through the clouds!!!! Thank you, Mr. Mather, for being a terrific sport about climbing up!!!

You’ve asked and we listened!
We are now offering a Bike Drop‑Off option the night before the race — with security on site all night to keep everything safe until you’re ready to race.

During Bike Drop‑Off, Orientation Sessions will be held at 6:00 p.m. or 7:00 p.m. Come ask questions, explore the course, learn about transitions, and tune up your bike at our self‑serve station. Staff from Grindin Gears Bikes and Boards will also be available to assist.

Reminder: All three team members must be present to check in your team’s bike so everyone knows exactly where it will be on race day.

Prefer to bring your bike on race morning instead?
You can still check in Friday, June 12 from 7:30–9:30 a.m.
