Today marked a meaningful start to the UT Garden journey. We were honored to have Elder Vivian Whitstone join us, sharing timeless wisdom and reminding us to reconnect with the old ways. She beautifully said, “Mother Earth has everything we need to survive and live a good life,” urging us to remember our roots. While it's easy to get caught up in taking the easy way out, today was a powerful reminder to embrace nature’s gifts. It was truly a beautiful day ☀️🪶

It was a beautiful evening at the Vermilion Campus! Envirothon was in full hilt- One of our elders, Vivian Whitstone, led a beautiful smudge and prayer 🍃
