The Just Cruizin BBQ Diehards! Our Craaayzzzy Torrents that stayed to the bitter end! 😂 We lucked out as the rain held off till the last half hour! But seriously THANK YOU TO EVERYONE!!! You all rock!! From the donations to the grill Masters to the awesome ladies selling tickets and burgers and the kids y’all are awesome!! And thank you to the just Cruizin BBQ organizers who keep having us back! despite the weather we were still able to raise money for the club (which is awesome!!) and for our World Cup Team going to Spain! (Which is also awesome!!) Fantastic work everybody y’all crushed it! We all earned a well-deserved nap! 😮‍💨😴 😂

Torrent Tae Kwon Do has done it again. They brought home 4 gold medals for kickboxing, point sparring and a silver for traditional forms and the Grand CHAMPIONSHIP in sparring in the Western Canadian Karate Championship tournament in Red Deer this weekend. A different style but skill is skill and something Torrent takes seriously when training up athletes. We are training our Team of 6 for Spain this fall, all from Lloydminster who through dedication and hard work are hitting the World stage. We are now open for registration for our fall season. Tonight, the Lloydminster Lions Club donated a total of $10,000 between the St. Mary’s school playground project, the Lloydminster Region Health Foundation, the Kiwanis Music Festival, the SPARK Foundation of Lloydminster, Lloydminster Minor Hockey, the Olive Tree and Torrent Taekwon-do. Amazing work!!
