We hope everyone is having an awesome summer break. We are incredibly grateful to Canadian Natural and the Canadian Natural donation committee for their outstanding contributions of $27,900.00 towards the St. Mary’s Playground project.

Each year Canadian Natural hosts its annual charity golf tournament to raise funds for non profit organizations throughout the communities where they operate. This year’s tournament, held on May 28th, 2026, raises funds that will make a meaningful impact across many organizations, and we are truly honoured that St. Mary’s Playground was selected as one of the recipients.

This generous donation brings us one step closer to creating a safe, inclusive, and accessible playground where children can learn, play, and build lifelong memories.

Thank you, Canadian Natural, for investing in our community and the future of our children. Your generosity will have a lasting impact on generations of St.Mary’s students and families.

Statement from Lloydminster RCMP
Lloydminster RCMP have completed an investigation into the online allegations made regarding unprofessional behaviour by a teacher in the Lloydminster Catholic School Division. RCMP advise that all individuals directly involved have been identified and have been involved with the investigation. Lloydminster RCMP acknowledge that the allegations were shared on social media, and police have taken the allegations seriously.

As a result of a thorough investigation, police have determined that no criminal offence has occurred. The police have concluded our investigation regarding this matter.

RCMP were advised that the non-criminal events in question were addressed by the Lloydminster Catholic School Division at the time the event occurred.

Statement from Lloydminster Catholic School Division
Lloydminster Catholic School Division would like to acknowledge the RCMP statement regarding the investigation of the social media allegations and subsequent finding of no criminal activity. Lloydminster Catholic School Division will continue to collaborate with the RCMP if any further information comes to light. Our priority is providing a safe, supportive learning environment.

The Division remains committed to transparency and accountability, but we are limited in what information may be shared publicly. Navigating a complex personnel matter requires strict adherence to privacy legislation and due process, and we appreciate our community’s patience while we worked alongside law enforcement to handle this responsibly.
