St. Joseph Elementary School

St. Joseph Elementary School Programming from Kindergarten to Grade 7. Programs follow the Saskatchewan curriculum. All current and new programs are implemented at all levels.

Full Religious Education program at all levels. Environmental Earth School. Band Program, Grade 5, 6 and 7. Special Education programming with educational assistant help and Speech Language support. School Community Council provides help and support to the school in all aspects of program enhancement. Physical Education Specialist on staff.

30-station computer lab. Core French and Intensive French Programming. After School Childcare Program available for 2010-2011 school year. Hours of operation: 3:10 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and 2:10 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. on early dismissals. (This program operates only on days children are scheduled to be in school).

🦃🍂 Happy Thanksgiving from St. Joe’s! 🍂🦃

Wishing all our St. Joe’s families a Thanksgiving filled with love, joy, and many blessings!

Our Turkey Trot was full of fun and laughter, from our Turkey Disguise Contest and our new staff members trying to catch what they thought were turkeys (surprise! They were our Grade 7 students! 😂) to our Grade 1 students singing their turkey song and our school community enjoying a trot around the park.

We have so many things to be grateful for, especially our wonderful students, families, staff, and the amazing community that makes St. Joe’s so special. ❤️

🔥🚒 Fire Prevention Week at St. Joe’s! 🚒🔥

Our Grade 3 students had a special guest Chad Penner, Assistant Fire Chief of the Lloydminster Fire Station who taught them important lessons about fire safety and what to do in an emergency.

🧡 A meaningful day of learning at St. Joe’s!
Some of our students enjoyed a field trip to the Servus Sports Centre, thanks to Culture Connections and Cynthia Young for the invitation. Meanwhile, students at school took part in activities to celebrate National Truth and Reconciliation Day and learn about the importance of truth and reconciliation.🧡

Cultural Connections moved to Servus Sports Centre

With the wind potentially 40-60 kilometres per hour Wednesday morning, Cultural Connections: A Truth and Reconciliation Experience has been moved indoors.

The free event will now take place at the Servus Sports Centre on September 30 from 5 to 7 p.m.

Visitors can explore Métis trapper tents and tipis, take part in traditional teachings and demonstrations, and hear from Elders and knowledge keepers. Learn more at Lloydminster.ca slash CultureDays.
