As the UT spring session storytelling class wraps up, here's a look at their adventures...a field trip to Sweetgrass First Nation with traditional knowledge keeper Wes Fineday; a garden blessing with Elder Vivian Whitstone from Onion Lake First Nation; a bus tour to the Frog Lake Historical site, Onion Lake, and Fort Pitt with Grace United Church's United for Reconciliation committee; and a visit from Shalen Fox from Sweetgrass First Nation. I has been an amazing six weeks!

It’s been a busy couple of days focusing on the heart of the mission. Students have spent their time at Padson International School and UABC diving into classroom lessons and academic collaboration. Of course, they are balancing the hard work with some fun - catching some rays and scouting out the best ice cream shops! They are “scooping” up all the knowledge they can.

From a spring snowstorm to sunny Mexico - this group of students made it. The icy roads and winter weather are a distant memory now that they’ve traded snow for clear blue skies! Here is to a week of learning and service!
