As a podcaster and voice over guy, I often get asked the question of how I get my voice tracks to sound the way they do.
So I made this video to start with the tech side of things; the psychology of speaking for a gig/living is an entirely different topic, one which I have dealt with an a podcast episode called "Do You Hate Your Voice?".

An improvised piece of music created yesterday...
The rain was too loud on my skylight to make vocal recording possible, si I embraced the moment- recorded the rain, and improvised a very simple guitar part to be embellished with kalimba, tabla and some synth pads.

I did this guitar modification in 2011, with some recent interest from folks in an Ovation Guitar group, I made this video to demonstrate a pretty easy but super impactful upgrade to my plugged in or live sound.
This guitar changed my entire outlook on making music, from songwriting to performing to recording and especially my notion of myself as an artist. It is very, very dear to me, so how could I possibly cut into it and drill holes in it?
Well, I was a wee bit hesitant but I'm very glad I did!
