Do not stop, always maintain a distance of at least 100 meters, and never exit your vehicle for a photo, or any other purpose. Allow them their space. Grizzly bear populations in Southwestern BC are endangered and threatened--it is critical to prevent them from becoming habituated due to harmful human behaviour. Please follow these tips on road viewing etiquette so that does not happen 🚗
