So proud of our students for working so hard this morning to help us prepare for our Thanksgiving Luncheon. They showed perseverance, responsibility, respect, work ethic and had fun doing it! Tomorrow we feast on the food they helped prepare. Wishing all of our Levack community a wonderful Thanksgiving!

🧡 Orange Shirt Day – September 30 🧡

On September 30, our school community will come together to recognize Orange Shirt Day and the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. We invite students, families, and staff to wear orange as we honour the children who never returned home from residential schools, remember Survivors and their families, and reflect on the importance of truth, learning, and reconciliation. Together, we can help create a school community where every child feels seen, valued, respected, and safe. 🧡

Our students raised 1315 dollars for the Terry Fox Walk to support cancer research. As a result, we took some pies to the face!

Levack Public School students have raised over $4210 since 2022. This year, students have set a goal of raising $230, or $2 per student! If students reach their goal, they will get to "pie" their teachers during the Terry Fox event on September 25th! Students will also be running the track during the event to commemorate the 46th anniversary of Terry Fox's Marathon of Hope. Visit our school's page here to help students reach their goal and raise money for the Terry Fox Foundation! https://schools.terryfox.ca/133979
