8 years ago… 🥹✨ Little Izabel, probably about 6 years old, singing Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star at her lesson. 🎶

Proof that it’s never too early to start singing — and you’re never too old to find your voice. 💕

Sometimes the most meaningful moments in teaching happen long after the lesson is over. ❤️🎶

Looking back at these photos from an old performance with my students reminds me why I started teaching in the first place.

It’s not just about hitting the right notes. It’s about finding your voice, building confidence, stepping outside your comfort zone, and having the courage to share a little piece of yourself with the world.

Watching my students grow, take the stage, and realize what they’re capable of will always be one of my greatest joys.

✨ Your voice matters. Your story matters. And there is a place in this world for your song.

There’s something so beautiful about watching this young singer find the emotion, character, and confidence behind a song.

Taylor absolutely brought it for this one. 🔥🎤

Taking on “What’s Up” by 4 Non Blondes is NO small vocal feat—and she’s handling those big notes with so much power, control and confidence.

One of my favourite things to work on with singers is learning how to modify vowels without losing the emotion or sound of the song. When the technique clicks, those big notes can start to feel so much more natural and free.

And the best part? We’re doing all of this virtually! 🙌

There’s SO much more to singing than simply “having a good voice.” 🎤✨

Behind every confident singer is technique, coordination, breath management, resonance, vocal strength, and a whole lot of practice.

With my students, we work on understanding how the voice actually works — so they can sing with more freedom, control, consistency and confidence.

And honestly? Watching a singer start to understand their instrument and realize “wait… I CAN do that!” is one of my favourite parts of teaching. 🤍
