Today we recognized Orange Shirt Day together. Mr. Plume led us by talking about the importance of this day, what it all means and how recognition is a part of reconciliation. We shared in a Blackfoot prayer together. We then tied orange ribbons on the fence to commemorate the importance of Orange Shirt Day. Take a look:

Week of Truth and Reconciliation | September 21–25, 2026

Join us daily for an educational and commemorative journey as we learn, reflect, and honour the truths and experiences of Indigenous Peoples.

Together, we will work toward understanding, respect, and reconciliation as we lead up to the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation (Orange Shirt Day) on September 29.

Every step toward reconciliation matters.🧡 Honouring Truth. Embracing Reconciliation.
