The Story of Joseph
This week we learned about Joseph, his coat of many colours, and how his brothers were mean to him.
The story of Joseph teaches three main ideas: God is always with us, even when things are hard; we should choose to forgive others instead of being mad; and God can turn a sad or bad happening into something good.
God is always near: Joseph went through scary and lonely times, like being in a deep hole and a dark jail. But God stayed with him every step. Preschoolers learn that God is never far from them either.
Choosing to forgive: Joseph's brothers were mean to him and treated him poorly. Later, Joseph had the power to be mean back, but he chose to hug them and forgive them instead. Kids learn that saying "I forgive you" is a wonderful choice.
God makes good from bad: Even when people do unkind things, God has a big plan and can bring a happy ending out of a messy situation

The story of Noah is a wonderful lesson for children about listening to God, trusting His plan—even when it gets tough—and knowing that God always keeps His promises.

Noah showed incredible faith by doing what God asked him to do, even when it took a long time to build that enormous ark. He trusted God, even though some people around him might have laughed or didn’t understand why he was making such a big boat. Noah and his family faced a long time of uncertainty, but the rainbow in the sky was a special sign of God’s promise never to flood the whole earth again, and God keeps his promises.

This week the children loved exploring this lesson and were truly amazed by Noah's faith in building such a huge ark!

Our lemonade stand was a great success!
The Adorable Tots Preschool and KinderCare children had a wonderful day running their lemonade stand. They worked hard creating attractive posters and signage, and their sweet smiles and polite interactions with passersby helped make the day a success. The cool, refreshing lemonade was welcomed by everyone who tried it!
We greatly appreciate everyone who came by—parents, staff, and our local community—and purchased lemonade.
The funds raised will go toward treats and toys for the children. 😊

Our preschool-aged class is hosting a lemonade stand on Wednesday, July 22nd.
