Lethbridge College 'Ag Days' highlights Agriculture industry for southern Alberta students

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Emma Knodel for her remarkable achievement in winning the Rotary Club of Lethbridge East's $10,000 Agriculture scholarship!

Emma completed her Lethbridge College Agriculture diploma in 2022 and is currently pursuing her Bachelor of Agriculture Science. She is a shining example of passion and dedication, juggling her academic pursuits, her role as President of the Lethbridge College Aggies club, and her commitment to her family farm with remarkable ease.

Emma's success is a testament to her hard work and we are thrilled to see her receive this well-deserved recognition. We look forward to seeing her continue to make a positive impact in the field of agriculture.

Irrigated Crop Production Update brings southern Alberta’s ag industry together | BE READY Southern Alberta’s agriculture community will gather next week for the Irrigated Crop Production Update, a one-day conference focused on all things irrigation.

Some of our second year agribusiness students are taking in the Ag Excellence Conference this week. Lots of learning going on here in Canmore!

Jim DeBoer 92 from Iowa made these all out of wood. They have movable and removable parts. He began carving when he was 12 years old. Zoom in and look at the work put into it. Each takes between 80 and 100 hours to complete. Just amazing.

Mother and daughter earn Agriculture Sciences diplomas two years apart | BE READY Citing her daughter as her inspiration, mature student Lana Handsaeme is set to graduate from Lethbridge College’s Agriculture Sciences program with a major in agronomy.
