πŸŽ‰ Ahead of the Herd 2026 was our biggest AOTH event yet!

Future students and their families brought incredible energy to campus as they explored life at the University of Lethbridge through campus tours, interactive activities, a booth fair, and hands-on classroom experiences. The event also provided opportunities to connect with faculty, staff, and fellow future students while getting a firsthand look at our campus community.

The excitement throughout the day highlighted the strength of our community and the enthusiasm of our future students. We can't wait to welcome them back this fall and officially have them join the herd. πŸπŸ’™

Where medical students train shapes their learning, relationships and the kind of physicians they become. The Southern Alberta Medical Program (SAMP) is built around that idea. A place-based approach to medical education, SAMP connects students to the realities of rural and regional care. A partnership between the University of Calgary’s Cu***ng School of Medicine and the University of Lethbridge, SAMP is set to welcome its first students in July 2026.

"A life of theatre is a life of variety." - Arlene Bedster (1970-2025)

Arlene Bedster (BFA – Dramatic Arts ’94) believed deeply in the power of storytelling, community and education. Today, her words live on, not just in memory, but in action.

Arlene's closest friends, colleagues and loved ones are coming together to honour her legacy by establishing an endowed scholarship for Dramatic Arts students, supporting the next generation of theatre artists.
