October brings so many changes and so many new things at Dr. Plaxton! This month we are collecting non perishable food items for the Lethbridge Food Bank as a school-wide focus on supporting the community we live in. Our students have several field trips planned this month, we have our second Hive Night on October 29th, a Halloween parade at the end of the month, and our classrooms have fallen into all kinds of beautiful rhythms and routines of learning! 🍁🍂🍁

As we close out our first month of school, we want to say thank you for a great start to the school year! We have enjoyed the fall colours, our first Hive Night, the Terry Fox Walk, Orange Shirt Day, a few field trips, and some awesome learning! We are off to a great start! 💫
