Today, we honour and celebrate National Indigenous Peoples Day — a time to recognize the rich cultures, traditions, languages, and contributions of First Nations, Métis, and Inuit Peoples across Canada. ❤️💛🖤🤍

As a school division, we are grateful for the opportunity to learn from Indigenous communities and to continue walking together in the spirit of respect, reconciliation, and understanding.

Huge congratulations to Shailyn Kromm and McKayla Paul on their 2026 APEX Youth Award nominations! 👏✨

These two incredible students were honoured yesterday by the Town of Taber for their outstanding leadership, academic excellence, dedication to faith, and selfless community service. From mentoring peers and managing school media to volunteering with local seniors and cadets, McKayla and Shailyn truly embody the spirit of giving back.

We wrapped up the year with an amazing Division Gathering featuring traditional hand games, Blackfoot Language Learning and Indigenous Outdoor games (rumor has it the men are still undefeated)...

What an incredible weekend of joy, reflection, and community spirit as St. Michael’s Pincher Creek (SMPC) School celebrated our amazing graduating class! After 13 years of hard work and dedication, these graduates are officially stepping into their next chapter.

This year’s theme, “The Future is Bright,” was beautifully inspired by Matthew 5:14-16: “Let your light shine before others...” 🌟
