The Force was strong in piano this week ✨⚔️ One of my students asked to earn a Star Wars party and I am happy to oblige!
These young Padawans filled their Jedi swords through consistent practice to earn their Star Wars Party! We decoded droid messages, conducted music, raced against the Jedis, trained our ears to hear the “light side” (major) vs. “dark side” (minor), played interval games “May the fourth be with you”, and officially became dubbed Jedi Musicians 🌌🎹
Every student left with a glow sword — and a whole lot of musical confidence. Honestly such a fun week at the studio 💚

These two sisters both completed RCM exams this June too, and deserve a shout out for their hard work and dedication they put in! The months of preparation coming together in one exam is daunting, and they were up for the challenge!

After watching her kids go through the MYC program, Erin asked if I could help her get back into piano lessons. She had the goal of finishing her level 8 exam. Over the last two years she has worked diligently and practiced so hard. Everything I asked her to do each week, she did! And it sure paid off. She got amazing marks on her level 8 RCM exam and I am SO PROUD of her for getting over her fear of performing and obtaining this wonderful achievement.
