Our Grade 9 Social Studies students explored Canada’s participation in the Second World War and brought their learning to life through podcasts, rap videos, Minecraft, posters, and so much more!
It’s amazing to see students take what they’ve learned and turn it into something uniquely their own.

What does learning look like at St. Francis? 📚

From creating rap songs and performing Reader’s Theatre to building dioramas and so much more! Our students are learning by creating, collaborating, and getting hands-on!

We love seeing the creativity and excitement happening in our classrooms every day!

Week of Truth and Reconciliation | September 21–25, 2026

Join us daily for an educational and commemorative journey as we learn, reflect, and honour the truths and experiences of Indigenous Peoples.

Together, we will work toward understanding, respect, and reconciliation as we lead up to the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation (Orange Shirt Day) on September 29.

Every step toward reconciliation matters.🧡 Honouring Truth. Embracing Reconciliation.
