We’re proud to unveil our speakers for the Donald Keynote Lecture and Departmental Address for the 9th Annual Congress of Sports Studies!

Join us as we welcome Geneviève Jeanson*, former professional cyclist and safe sport advocate, as our Donald Lecture Keynote, alongside a departmental address from Dr. Danilo Fernandes da Silva of Bishop’s University.

*Geneviève Jeanson’s talk includes discussion of abuse in sport and its long-term impacts. Audience members are encouraged to care for their well-being.

We are excited to welcome Dr. Jacqueline Mueller as our second speaker for the SPOSO Speaker Series! Dr. Mueller will be a part of a two part speaker series where she will give two talks:

Talk 1: “Beyond the Default: Challenging Your Internal Image of Sport Leadership”
Tuesday March 24th @ 2:30 pm in LLC 106

Talk 2: “From Bishop’s to the Big Smoke: How a Loughborough London Master’s Could Accelerate Your Sport Management Career”
Thursday March 26th @ 10:00 am in HAM 305
