What an unforgettable day! 🏃‍♀️🚴‍♂️ LPS partnered with Triathlon Alberta to host an exciting triathlon that became a duathlon for our Grade 3–6 students. Whether they were pushing past their limits during a challenging bike and run, or cheering on their classmates from the sidelines, our students showed incredible grit, school spirit, and determination. We loved seeing them tackle new challenges and experience the thrill of the finish line. Way to persevere, LPS! Special shout out of THANKS to all the Volunteers who came out to support this special experience!

Thank you to our wonderful LPS volunteers for all that you do! You help out with field trips, school council, fundraising, playground committee, recycling, hot lunch, and special events. The students and staff of LPS want you to know how much we truly appreicate you! THANK YOU for being such an important part of our school community!

LPS leopards truly enjoyed their experience at the BGSD Track Meet. Thank you to all the staff and parents who helped to make the day a success! We would like to send out a BIG THANK YOU to Wilhauk Beef Jerky LTD for sponsoring our school and providing our floor hockey teams with new jerseys that also sport an updated logo! The grade 5/6 boys floor hockey team were the first to wear them. They enjoyed sharing the moment with Adam who brought the boys a surprise beef jerky treat!

Linsford Park students enjoyed having some guest readers today as part of our education week activities. Special thanks to Officer Brad and Officer Nick, Adam from Wilhauk Beef Jerky, Cassy, Brittany, Freya, and Brianna from the BGC, Lynsey from Co-op, Nicole from BGSD, and Jeff Weiss for reading to our students today.

Our Spring Fling family dance was a huge success despite the snow and cold weather. Thank you to our school council and LPSPA fundraising group for hosting this fun family event. We would like to send a special shout out of THANKS to DJ Aaron for once again creating just the right mix of tunes for all to enjoy!
