"Mom, I can't do this..." 😞💔

Many parents have heard those words too many times. The struggle with French comprehension, the frustration over homework, the tears when reading feels impossible. But here’s a testimonial from one of our valued parents—proof that things can change:

"My 10-year-old has struggled with French immersion for years, but after joining Frenchetvoila, she received the 'Most Improved Reader' award at the end of Grade 5! Her grades are improving, and she’s more motivated to read. The program is well-organized, and the teachers truly connect with their students." 💙

Imagine hearing "Mom, I did it!" instead. 🌟

Is your child falling behind academically? Frustrated when it comes time to learn? Struggling to understand topics taught at school French, Math, Sciences ?

Here are 5 tips from students and parents performing at 90% in FrenchEtVoila:

Consistency is essential for learning, much like in sports or music!
Here are five friendly tips to help both children and adult learners thrive:

Confidence & Motivation: Encourage students to believe in themselves and celebrate their progress! Adult learners should also recognize their achievements, no matter how small.
Homework & Practice: Regular homework reinforces classroom learning:

Grades 1–3: 20–30 minutes per night
Grades 4–5: 40–50 minutes per night
Grades 6–8: 45–75 minutes per night
Grades 9–12: 25–30 minutes per subject

For Adults: Dedicate 30 minutes daily to review vocabulary and practice conversational skills. Engaging in real-life conversations can further enhance your learning experience.

Participate Actively: Engage in class discussions and activities. Don’t hesitate to ask questions! The more you participate, the more you’ll learn.

Set Goals: Create specific learning objectives, such as mastering a set number of vocabulary words each week or practicing speaking for a certain amount of time daily. Clear goals can motivate you and help track your progress.

Seek Feedback: Regularly check in with your tutors about your progress. If you encounter challenges, let them know so they can offer personalized support.

Additional Tips for Parents:
Keep open communication with your child’s teachers at school.
Regularly monitor your child’s grades through PowerSchool, either weekly or bi-monthly.
