October is Cyber Awareness Month, and cybercriminals are counting on one thing: you reacting before you think. 🚨 Phishing emails and text messages love to create fake panic, claiming there’s an urgent problem with your account, a missed package delivery, or a surprise prize waiting for you. Before you click a link or share any personal information, take a moment to PAUSE. Check who actually sent the message, look closely at the full URL address, and ask yourself whether the request actually makes sense. Here at WECDSB, taking a few extra seconds to verify what you're seeing can save you from a costly mistake and keep our entire school community safe online.
