We had a special visit from Mayme Boyer last week to teach our Junior students some traditional beading work. Despite the tedious task, students tried hard and created some lovely pieces! 🪡 We’re grateful for the knowledge that Mayme shared with us!

Our grade 9 class recently headed to Edmonton for our year end field trip!
The kids spent a half day at Fort Edmonton Park experiencing life at the Hudson’s Bay Company Fort and surrounding Cree encampment that existed at its beginning through its many iterations up to the end of the WWI. Students particularly enjoyed the steam driven train ride, the old timey Ferris wheel and carousel, and the midway games they got to play!
They then tested their problem solving skills and ability to work together at an Escape City escape rooms and at Activate. Some groups were “THISSSS” close to escaping their rooms, but no winners this time around and everyone had a blast running around completing all of the different mental and physical challenges at Activate.
The next morning our day started off at Snow Valley Ariel Park where students pushed themselves to new heights, literally, with physical and mental feats they should be so proud of.
Our final stop of the trip was at the Telus World of Science for a chance to check out the exhibits, watch an IMAX movie about penguins and the efforts to protect them, and take part in a blood typing experiment lab with a staff member.
Thank you to our parent drivers and chaperones; without you this trip would not be possible!

Our Grade 7 class headed to Moose Jaw and Regina for their year end trip!
The kids got to tour the Tunnels and race around the Western Development Museum in Moose Jaw before heading to Regina for an evening at the Science Centre.
Between exploring the exhibits the kids had an egg drop competition, rode the Gyro-sphere, and did a dissection in the lab! After a camp-in at the Science Centre the crew was up early to watch The Lost Wolves of Yellowstone at the IMAX Theatre, and then they headed to the Saskatchewan Legislative building for a tour.
Smiles, laughs, and memories made! Thanks to our parent (and grandparent) chaperones who drove kids and corralled the chaos!
