The bob double stroller is officially back for winter walks! It gets so dark in the afternoon, so we added string lights on our swing set for extended outdoor play. ✨

More than A B Cs…

How can we best support infants who are starting to learn to speak one, two, three words? The answer is, singing. Nothing beats a classic Old McDonald. 🐮

Singing allows children to breakdown words through rhymes, repetition, and movements. In this photo, R is copying me say “moo, baa…” while we press the farm toys to hear the sound once more.

Hello families! Registration is open for November 2025. I have a space open for Tuesdays-Thursdays ages 12 months to 5 years old.

(I am accepting waitlists for Monday-Friday, but please note that it takes a while to get those space/s open).

After the storm last year, we opened temporarily in Lloydminster and met awesome families there. ❤️ Fast forward to May, we are finally back in Lashburn and tried to reopen as soon as I can but some delays happened. I decided to take a break and enjoy our space that we’ve missed so much. I can’t wait to meet you, share and collaborate what we do at Play House, and learn together!

The children who never leave our memories.

The ones who made us laugh so hard we had to catch our breath.
The ones who asked questions far beyond their years.
The ones we fought for, always wanting to keep them safe.
The ones we hope had someone to always cheer them on.
The ones who were undeniably them.
The ones who taught us to become better educators.

At the end of the day, we wonder if they remember us, and the impact we had on them?

And while I’m sure they do, even on a cellular level, I’ll never forget them and how they changed me.

And that’s a privilege I’ll never take for granted.
