Letting go is probably the hardest thing to do in life. But miracles happen when you do!
Struggling to speak English confidently at work or in daily life? I help you find your voice. I’m a language coach with a focus on self-leadership.
That means we work not just on grammar and vocabulary—but on clarity, confidence, and communication.

For years, I thought I wanted approval.
But what I really wanted was something much deeper:
To be seen.
To know that my effort mattered.
That my work helped someone.
That my voice made a difference.
There is a big difference between needing permission and wanting your contribution to be recognized.
One keeps us small.
The other reminds us that we matter.
✨ Reflection question:
When was the last time you confused approval with recognition?

I love this type of thinking…
All my life I was always a bit too much for people. Too loud too direct too brave too fast! Well you know that, today I’m saying: it’s you who are too quiet too vague too scared and too slow.
There.
The world is not changed by obedient cute always “the-good-girl” mask wearing people. Nope. The world changes when people with heart and guts move forward.
Dare live your passion, your dreams and your aspirations! The world needs people who come alive. Because that is where you belong and you start inspiring others to follow their dreams too!
My mum still tells people how "intense" I was as a kid...turning my bunkbed into a fake business... making fake money so my brothers could spend it at that fake business...
I think my parents thought something was wrong with me... I was always too much.
When you're "too much", too passionate, too ambitious, too excited you make people uncomfortable.
You obsess about your idea until 4am while everyone wants to go to bed.
You cry at films that aren't even sad.
You text long rambly paragraphs when everyone else sends thumbs up emojis.
You care about things that seem ridiculous to care about.
After 33 years of being told I was "too much"... I realised that the people who tell you you're too much are usually living at half volume.
And not because they're bad people... often because someone, somewhere, convinced them that being palatable was more important than being themselves.
The people I treasure most are all "too much". Too emotional, too ambitious, too weird, too creative, too intense, too easily inspired, too many ideas, too honest...🤣
They can all make simple things excessive, interesting, find stories in nature, find business ideas in music...
So if you're reading this feeling like you should shrink yourself to fit - please don't.
The world doesn't need another beige person making careful things and playing it safe. It needs you - it needs ALL of us, at full volume, with all your weird edges and sometimes exhausting passion.
Some people won't be able to handle it, and that's a really important way to filter and find YOUR people... change the people before you change yourself!
And when you find your people, they'll be so happy that you're exactly the amount of YOU that you are.
So so glad to have found so many of MY people! ❤️👊🏾
Have you found YOUR people?

I'm excited to share that I'll be joining a panel this Saturday at Montreal Hive Busy Brunch to discuss a topic that is very close to my heart:
Entrepreneurship.
The real version, not the "overnight success" version. The version that includes uncertainty, courage, growth, difficult decisions, unexpected opportunities, and a lot of learning along the way.
As the founder of ComfyLearning, my entrepreneurial journey has taught me far more than how to run a business. It has taught me about resilience, self-leadership, confidence, and the importance of finding my voice.
I'm looking forward to sharing the stage with other entrepreneurs, hearing their stories, and having an honest conversation about what it really takes to build something meaningful.
Thank you, Meryem Abed, for inviting me to this awesome event!
If you're in the Montreal area and entrepreneurship, personal growth, leadership, or business ownership interest you, I'd love to see you there.
Come say hello 👋 Who knows? One conversation might spark your next idea, collaboration, or opportunity.

One of the women in my Speak2Lead Friday Conversation Club shared something beautiful after our session on confidence.
She told me that she always thought confidence was mostly about posture, tone, and eye contact… but now she realizes it’s also the feeling of:
“I am capable.”
“I can try again.”
And this is exactly why I love the topics we explore together.
Soft skills conversations are never only about communication. They often become moments of reflection and self-discovery.
Thank you, Angelica, for this thoughtful feedback. 💛

The right room doesn’t just open doors, it sees you.
Surround yourself with women who recognize your genius, share their knowledge freely, and lift as they climb.
Stop shrinking yourself for spaces that were never built for you. Find your room. 🤝✨

This is why I do what I do.
Group coaching is crucial for women. We recharge and recover together, we understand our thoughts and emotions better together and we heal without even making any major effort.
Women rock. ❤️
