I asked AI to place me in the decade where I belong. It chose the 1970s—a literary café, surrounded by books, plants, coffee, and a journal. 🌿📚

At first, I was surprised. But the more I looked at this picture, the more I recognized myself. There is a softness here that I’m learning to welcome back into my life.

And I realized: this picture captures something of what I want to create at ComfyLearning.

Our classroom is online, but I want it to feel like this café—a welcoming place where you can bring your stories, ask questions, try new words, and feel comfortable being yourself.

Learning English can open doors to work and business. It can also help us connect, build friendships, and express parts of ourselves that others haven’t yet had the chance to meet.

That’s the heart of my school: helping you feel more at home in English, one conversation at a time. 💚

Your next networking event starts with preparation. 🤝

Before you walk into the room, can you answer these six questions about your business—in English AND French?

1. What do you do?
2. Who is your ideal client?
3. What do you love about your work?
4. How did you start?
5. What problem do you solve?
6. What makes you different?

This week’s challenge: write your answers, say them out loud, and time yourself. Then trim your introduction to about one minute, keeping the ideas that truly represent your business.

Practise in both languages until the words feel natural. You’ll have a clear introduction ready—and more confidence to start a conversation.

Last Saturday, I attended a Montreal Hive brunch, and I absolutely loved it. 💛 MtlHive

I decided it was time to take Inner Home into the world, so I brought a few copies with me—and had the pleasure of meeting some wonderful women.

Our conversations moved from nutrition to how we perceive reality and how changing our perspective can change our experience. I met a jeweler, a holistic coach, and other women whose stories I truly enjoyed hearing.

I also had the chance to chat with 𝕄𝕖𝕣𝕪𝕖𝕞 𝔸𝕓𝕖𝕕 | Residential Real Estate Broker the lovely woman behind this community, who brings women together every month.

What stayed with me most was the feeling of connecting through the heart: listening, sharing, and supporting one another.

Thank you, Meryem, and all the women I met, for such a beautiful Saturday. I’m so happy to have found this community, and I look forward to many more brunches together. 🌿

What a beautiful Saturday morning with my ComfyLearning ladies!

Today we had our Pronunciation Workshop, where we worked on 10 English sounds that don’t exist in Romanian — or that Romanian speakers need to pay particular attention to when speaking English.

Seven wonderful women joined me, and we spent the morning listening, repeating, laughing, making strange faces 😄 and becoming more aware of how English actually feels in the mouth.

Ladies, you did such a good job!

I want to celebrate not only your pronunciation today, but also your ambition and commitment to learning English well. You show up. You practice. You’re curious. You want to speak with more confidence, clarity and ease — and I see the work you’re putting into it.

Thank you for spending your Saturday morning with me. It was quick, practical and so much fun.

✨ Sequence words like first, then, suddenly, and in the end
