And the bonehead of the year award goes to (drumroll) me! After working on these 6 days solid for a show I put this on a microfiber cloth to film a demo... the cloth I was just using to prep the acrylic... soaked in IPA... ARGH!

A few more shots as we advance the ground scene. I will be building up the tree in the background and create a story.

The deck was created first as the support for the AT-ST feet, the logs were created from latex rubber taken from a nearby forest and cast in Silicone. The entire Ewok forest scene (and the hang glider) was made from this mold. The skins are pulled, formed and secured to sono tubes, then hand painted, weathered and enhanced with moss and sculpted mushrooms and fungus!

Epic New Massive display at Toy Traders! Just put in this morning. Been mocking this up at the shop for a few days, morphing it from a floor mounted rack. It required harnessing the structure from within, reversing the engineering to support from above. Double redundancy on the aircraft cable and structurally attached on the torso ! Safety First!

Next, sell the scene… no budget😉😛, built up this raft then placed some logs to bring the display into the viewers below. Not completely finished… perhaps 80%.

This brings together a massive Hoth display, on its right, and doubles into a massive 1:1scale Ewok that spans over 40 feet in width, and 28 feet high!

The Lawgiver (both Blamcon and Props3D) is nearing completion! The final PCB is on order so now time to solve the niggly stuff, like how to make a metal cowl. The progressive forming jig was my first stab at it and... well I think this works! It's not perfect just because it was my frist try but even for a first stab I'm pretty happy with it 😄
