BUYER BEWARE: Fake and dangerous childrens products are turning up for sale on Amazon. (Including the .ca site)

Always look for the Canadian National Safety Mark to ensure your seat is legal and safe to use. Also double check that both French and English is on the labelling.

The listing on Amazon described it as a "4 in 1 Baby car seat and Stroller" and featured images of a popular brand called Doona, including a photo of the US President's daughter, Ivanka Trump, with hers. Listed for $299, this copycat was $200 cheaper than a real Doona. It was also potentially dang.....

Hockey season has started, remember to arrive with time to get dressed at the rink, and change when you are finished.

Let the seatbelt do it’s job in the car, and let the hockey gear do it’s job on ice. It is the seatbelt’s job to protect your child properly in the car.

Wearing hockey gear doesn’t allow for proper fitting of the child’s seatbelt as well as it goes against the manufactures instructions for proper use. It won’t allow for the seatbelt to function correctly in the event of a crash.

I am a Child Passenger Safety Technician certified with the Child Passenger Safety Association of Canada, as well as I am Child Passenger Safety (CPS) Educator with the BCAA Traffic Safety Foundation Child Passenger Safety Program.
