Cleansing your workspace is one thing.
Cleansing it with intention is a joy ritual.

I wasn’t just wiping my desk.
I was setting the tone for my day.
Moving to music I love.
Slowing down.
Tracing infinity.

Inviting ease, abundance, and possibility into my space.

This is the Rooted in Joy way.
We don’t wait for special moments.
We meet the everyday with presence.

That’s how the mundane becomes meaningful.

February is a threshold month.

A space between deep rest and new growth.

This is where we root before we rise. Nourishing what’s already alive, tending our inner ground, and preparing gently for what lies ahead.

If you are tired, and finding yourself needing rest, give yourself grace and attention.

Nothing needs to be forced. Things are already forming behind the scenes, in favor of your highest good.

Honouring your rhythms and rituals now helps prepare the seeds of your dreams to come alive.

Be gentle.
Be soft.
Love the tender pieces of yourself.

Nourish your joy.
Nourish your soul.

These are the tender days of becoming.

Who do you get to be this year?
How does that version of you prepare?

II don't know about you, but the energy around is feeling off. It is unsettling. This right here has me staying grounded.

I brought back another one of my favorite tools: a Sharpie marker and Post-it notes.

I had stopped using them for a while, and being a visual person, seeing affirmations or nuggets of wisdom stuck to places I will see them often truly makes an impact.

Maybe it doesn't feel like enough to say it out loud. Write it out, Babe!

✌🏽✨️

**Quotes were extracted from a recent post by . I was really moved by the reminder that my wholeness is my power. How do I help the world at this time? Move! Bring joy everywhere I go. Speak up. Acknowledge the anger that is here. It is information, and I can do something about it, even if it is a small thing.

A visit earlier this month to Edmonton gave me the physical feeling of winter.

While the weather in the Lower Mainland does not reflect deep winter, I still feel it in my soul and it's starting to feel uncomfortable.

Today I was putting feelings and thoughts to paper when I felt the rush.

NOW! Now you can start to plan, prep the garden for all your dreams.

Go ahead, but do not rush.
Allow it to unfold.
Be present.
Give space.
Let it stretch and breathe.

CLARITY comes to us in the STILLNESS.

As uncomfortable as life can be at times, there is information to be noticed. To help support us on the path. The messages come through best on clear channels.

When we slow down and give presence, this is where we can truly be guided.

Have you given yourself the chance to hear yourself lately?

Are you giving space for spirit to speak and guide you in the direction of joy + your dreams?

Wherever you are, in the deep winter or beginning the emergence, you are right on time.

This photo of little Jenni sits on my desk.
As I’ve grown, I’ve been noticing the things about myself that have never changed.

The quiet truths. The instincts. The parts of me that were always there, even when I didn’t have the words.

And now I’m becoming the woman who feels safe being her.

Safe naming her joy, her beauty, her expression, her way of moving through the world.

Safe choosing what feels aligned inside and out.
There’s something powerful about looking back at her and realizing I didn’t change…

I simply grew into the version of myself that could hold her without judgment and with love.

This weeks Monday's Roots is inspired by that feeling of something being starred from within. Like being jn a coocoon and feeling the itch to beging the journey of wiggling free.

Rest doesn’t end abruptly.
It shifts.

If getting back into motion feels slower than expected, you’re not behind.

If you are feeling restless but wanting to sit a little longer, you're right at the threshold.

You’re transitioning.

Honor the rest that held you,
and gently plan how you return to your days with balance and ease.

Affirm and Declare:

I honor my season and move from rest into action with gentleness and balance.

Be Rooted In Joy,

Jenni

As I move through January, I am finding myself struggling to find a rhythm.

I am being called to rest, and it is not the "kick your feet up" kind. Truthfully, that was the only kind of rest I knew.

Rest can also look like taking a break from the loop and allowing adventure to unfold.

This past weekend, I enjoyed a great mini-adventure in Fort Langley with a new friend, .

We found knights in the forest, witchy stores hidden in little nooks of the street, antique stores, wandered around, and enjoyed talking each other's ears off.

I am grateful to see how rest can look and feel different. ✌🏽✨️

Beginning the year with Radiance 2026 — hosted and organized by an absolute gem of a human being Maria Koehn .reflect.grow was one of the best decisions I have made.

I am grateful to be welcomed into this space and community.

Sharing the medicine of joy here, for the first time felt deeply meaningful.

I am feeling the overflow and happiness.

What does it mean to be Rooted in Joy?

Being rooted in Joy isn’t about chasing constant happiness.

It’s about coming home, again and again, to what grounds me.

It’s the sacred pause in the middle of the mess.

The breath.

The connection.

The devotion to presence — even when things feel hard.

Joy is more than a fleeting feeling.
It’s a frequency I choose to tend.

To be rooted in Joy means I allow all of me —
the shadow and the light,
the contrast and the wholeness.

I can hold it all… and still rise.

Rooted in Joy is a lived practice.

A returning.

A remembering.

We walk it with grace.
With intention.
With love.

You are welcome here.

With Joy,

Jenni 🤎 ✨️ ✌🏽
