The biggest knowledge gap in a facility isn't always what your team doesn't know—it's where that knowledge lives 📚

Too often, critical operating information is spread across manuals, spreadsheets, handwritten notes, and the memory of long-time operators.

But when information is difficult to find, training becomes inconsistent, troubleshooting takes longer, and valuable knowledge can be lost over time.

TFM's Training Program Development helps facilities bring that knowledge together into one customized system, creating practical training materials and operating procedures built around the way your facility actually runs.

Learn how TFM can help you build a training program that supports safer, more consistent facility operations.

It was a pleasure spending the day at Berryhill Foods delivering an on-site Refrigeration Safety Awareness course for their team.

One of the things we enjoy most about on-site training is the opportunity to work directly with the people operating these systems every day. By delivering training in the facility where those skills are applied, we can create a more practical learning experience that's immediately relevant to the team.

We're grateful for the opportunity to continue working alongside the team at Berryhill Foods and look forward to supporting them in the future.

Interested in bringing Refrigeration Safety Awareness training to your facility? Get in touch with TFM to learn more about our customized on-site training programs!

What goes into an annual boiler inspection? Our Work Experience students recently got to find out firsthand!

Annual maintenance is key to keeping an industrial boiler in working order, so when we had a contractor come out to conduct an annual inspection on our training facility's boiler, we took the opportunity to give our current Work Experience group a front-row seat to the action.

From combustion testing to internal inspections and cleaning activities, students had the opportunity to observe how experienced professionals assess boiler condition, identify potential issues, and help ensure safe operation.

It's experiences like these that set TFM's Work Experience Program apart. By exposing students to real maintenance procedures and operating equipment, we help bridge the gap between classroom learning and the realities of working in the field.

Municipal infrastructure is the backbone of our communities, but keeping facilities running safely and efficiently has never been more complex.

From workforce shortages and succession planning to regulatory compliance and aging equipment, municipalities are being asked to do more with fewer resources.

That's where TFM comes in.

Our team partners with municipalities across British Columbia to provide operational support across key areas like operator training, staffing solutions, and facility audits, ensuring long-term success.

Because strong communities depend on strong facility operations.

When your most experienced operator retires, what knowledge leaves with them?

In a lot of facilities we encounter, critical operating procedures live in the minds of long-term employees. So when staffing changes happen, the facility is left unprepared to onboard its new Power Engineers.

TFM helps facilities capture that knowledge and turn it into structured, customized training programs for new employees. From documenting key procedures to building clear onboarding pathways, our team helps ensure your next generation of operators is prepared to keep your facility running.
