Sometimes when babies are born they need an extra bit of TLC. Daisy was born at 10 this morning but after two hours she showed signs of struggling. She was about a week earlier than we thought she could be born and she was the smaller of the twins (male born sleeping). We brought her inside to warm up with a wool sweater and warm blankets. Bottle ni***es are too big so she is being fed with an eye dropper.

New Spring, New Does!
Let’s try this again

Last year brought so much sadness and doubt about our little herd. With only a few pregnancies, miscarriages and sudden deaths, we all but gave up!
We said goodbye to 2025 and have put our heads together to rethink our herd management.
