Well right now we are in the process of rebuilding our website but it's been a little bit frustrating at times which is why when we need help, we ask for it from people who really know what their doing.

This is what we do - we help people when it comes to using their technology. Sending emails, using iTunes, editing photos changing the preferences on their iPhones and much more. We believe that everyone should experience using technology in ways it can benefit their lives - no matter their age!

Fortunately we understand this which is why we are in the business of creating experiences. Whether it's showing your parents/grandparents how to send a text, listen to music or play a game, we are here to help make your life easier and more enjoyable. Or maybe it's you that needs to know how to get rid of those pesky click bait ads when you visit a web page? Even adjust the size of your text on your iPhone?

DID YOU KNOW?

As of 2016, there are an estimated 564,000 Canadians living with dementia - plus about 25,000 new cases diagnosed every year. By 2031, that number is expected to rise to 937,000, an increase of 66 per cent!!

Even though facing dementia and alzheimer's is a scary thought - it doesn't have to be. Maintaining a health diet, exercising regularly and keeping your brain active through computer brain training can all help to prevent and reduce the symptoms of dementia.

The Social Tutor can help you with all three - just ask us how!

What an amazing story! If push came to shove, would you do the same?

Nearly 80 years after she was forced to leave high school to care for her sick mother and young siblings, 97-year-old Margaret Bekema was awarded her high school diploma in an emotional ceremony last week. "I thank you from the bottom of my heart," said the tearful nonagenarian who would have graduated in 1936. "I had to quit school to take over the family. It was hard, you have no idea how hard that was. I loved high school and I had lots of friends.”

Catholic Central High School Principal Greg Deja presented Bekema with the honorary degree, praising her for a life of "sacrifice and service." He added that "it has been so encouraging and inspiring for our community because her choices represent all the core values that we teach our students.” During the ceremony at Bekema's senior community near Grand Rapids, Michigan, the grandmother of four, who worked at a local preschool for 17 years, proudly sported a mortarboard and gold honor cords reflecting the superior grades she received so many decades ago.

Congratulations to Margaret Bekema on her much overdue diploma and kudos to the school for recognizing this deserving senior!
