Global Montessori School

Global Montessori School informs families & the community that our Elementary program (Kindergarten to Grade 7) will be ending on June 30, 2023. This is the final year for these grades only. We sincerely appreciate your patronage and thank all families and the community for their support in the past 20 years of the existence of our Elementary program.

Primary (3 to 5 years) and Infant Toddler (0 to 3 years) programs will continue to operate as usual.

School is closed today. There are hazardous winter driving conditions in Langley and surrounding communities. Stay safe families!

Brrr!!! We hope everyone is bundling up and enjoying fun outdoor activities during this winter holiday. School is open for Infant/Toddler and Primary All-Day schedules Wednesday. If you plan on coming in, be sure to have your little people bundled up so they can enjoy the sunny winter day that is expected.

We are open! It was a windy night and many areas of Langley are out of power. In the school, the lights are on and we look forward to seeing you this morning!

Book reviews: What Should Danny Do? - Global Montessori School When searching for new and interesting children's books I came across several new books. One was a book titled "What Should Danny Do?" What Should Danny

We are in unprecedented times! The days ahead will be challenging -- calling upon our ability to be flexible, compassionate and calm. This will be particularly important as the younger members of our family are watching us, and learning how to manage a crisis from our behaviours.

We are open! Our aim is to remain available to the families in our community that need us. We are following expanded protocols to maintain a healthy school environment and appreciate the on-going support of our families with our efforts. Big news is the distance learning framework we will be putting in place after Spring Break for our Kindergarten and Elementary students. Be sure to stay current with the evolving coronavirus situation through our regular email updates.

Our role as a school is to educate, nurture and support children and families. The social distancing mandate is having us look at different ways to stay connected with one another. Planning is underway to keep the fabric of our community together, with the hopes of coming together stronger than before.
