The Polis and Faith
What does it mean to be a faithful Christian in today's public square?
In an age of political polarization, cultural confusion, and competing visions of the common good, Christians need more than political opinions. We need biblical wisdom, theological conviction, intellectual rigour, and Christlike courage.
Join the New Antioch Institute's Study Centre for Cultural Engagement for:
THE POLIS AND FAITH
How Christians Can Faithfully Engage with Current Political Issues.
Together, we'll explore:
Scripture & Public Life — What does the Bible teach about government, education, the church, and society?
Faithful Citizenship — How can Christians participate in public life without compromising their convictions?
Justice & the Common Good — How should we think biblically about justice, liberty, human dignity, and the flourishing of our communities?
Christlike Public Discourse — How can we speak truth with both courage and charity in an increasingly polarized culture?
This summit is designed for students, young adults, ministry leaders, educators, and those Christians who want to think carefully and faithfully about the world around them.
Come meet other Christians wrestling with these questions. Discover how the Christian worldview speaks to the challenges of our time. Grow in wisdom, strengthen your convictions, and learn how to bear faithful witness to Christ in the public square.
“For the earth is the LORD's and the fullness thereof.” — Psalm 24:1
