Port Renfrew Volunteer Fire Department hosted the FT P*P class from Victoria for a day of rescue from a beach and vehicle extrication. This was the fifth time they have hosted an AMAZING experience for our students!! We look forward to returning with our students again and again!

The Whistler P*P students have been taking advantage of the weather, getting outside, and honing their trauma skills while collaborating with some amazing community partners. Resort Municipality of Whistler (RMOW) Whistler Fire Fighters IAFF Local #3944 hosted the team for a training exercise in technical extrication and the use of their mechanical CPR device, AND Blackcomb Helicopters opened their hangar to the students for a training session in helicopter safety and air medical transport. Huge thank you to the professionals at Whistler Fire Rescue Service and Blackcomb Helicopters for the opportunity to train together!

Last month Whistler's PT P*P students joined Whistler Blackcomb Patrol for a day learning all things mountain medicine, rescue, and avalanche safety. Huge thanks to WB, Pemberton District Search & Rescue Society, Canadian Avalanche Rescue Dog Association 's Eva and handler Matt O, and all the other patrollers who contributed to our day in the mountains.

Our Victoria Winter FT P*P class spent the day with Port Renfrew Volunteer Fire Department on January 16th going through beach rescue, search grids and vehicle extrication. It was an amazing learning experience!

With our first ever ACP cohort having completed their 2-year diploma program this fall it was recently time to celebrate!
