😎Put your headphones on and give it a listen!
⤵️📱(or turn your phone sideways for a less intense effect).
ADHD’ers are loving 8D and bilateral beats! 🤩
The sound moves back and forth from ear to ear giving an amazing sound effect.
Many are finding it helps with focus and consider it a mood booster.
When I first stumbled bilateral beats I obsessively binged 8D songs for weeks. 🤣
What do you think, do you like them?

Adhd can feel like being stuck in a storm that never seems to end. ⛈️
A whirlwind tossing everything around without warning. 🌪️
The constant stream of ideas, the incessant pull in many directions and difficulty in completing tasks and can be incredibly overwhelming. 😩
I realized something with my own adhd…
Within the eye of this storm there is a sense of reprieve. A place of calm, where time slows down and things make sense again. 😌
Calm is in the ability pause while you let the storm pass🧘♀️
It’s in the choice of letting the hurricane take you away with it, or grounding yourself in the middle of it all.
While it may feel like the absolute most difficult thing to do, pausing is what can give you stable ground to stand on again until the storm passes.
Next time you’re feeling overwhelm or chaos creeping in, listen to what your mind or body truly needs to calm and ground itself in the moment to let that stormy feeling pass.
Mind pause ideas: Journaling, brain dumping, listening to the birds or sounds around you.
Body reset ideas: Meditating, walking or exercising.

Environment matters when it comes to ADHD Overwhelm.
Overstimulation 🫨
Distraction 😵💫
Clutter 🌪️
These all can effect our ability to focus and emotionally regulate.
Sometimes we need to ask ourselves if our environment is working for us.
Would going for a walk reduce your overstimulation? 🚶♀️
Would putting your phone in a drawer reduce your distraction? 📱
Would pausing to tidy up some clutter reduce your overwhelm? 🧹
Or maybe you change your environment entirely and go outside, to a library or coffee shop because that’s where you function best?
Today I’m working on a small island at a picnic table because it’s where I function best. I bring ear plugs for when it gets busy and put my phone away. This is where my productivity and creativity soars and my overwhelm is subsided by nature.
When you think of your ideal environment:
where is it and what does it look like? 👇

Adult adhd can feel lonely.
Especially as a woman.
Before I was diagnosed, I was constantly wondering what was wrong with me.
I felt so different. So incompetent. So sad…and lonely.
While I needed time to grieve after my diagnosis, I eventually felt so empowered! 💪🏼
“Now I have something to work with” I thought 💭
I had two goals:
1. To figure out how to work with the brain I have. 🧠
2. To build a community of adhd women where we all felt understood, accepted, supported and safe. 🥰

🚧 ADHD can make the journey to success a bumpy road at times.
🙌🏻 Remember that it's not about being perfect or trying to be someone you’re not.
Having the courage to keep moving forward despite all the bumps along the way can make a monumental difference in your journey.
So let go of self-judgment, keep getting up, and watch yourself soar towards your dreams.
