Special thanks to Ts'uubaa-asatx, Lake Cowichan Fire Department, and Country Grocer for the incredible community support for the first stop of the day, before sending the riders and crew off for more meaningful connections throughout the Cowichan Region on this special day. 🧡

🧡🧡🧡
As we continue our journey down the Island, we are reminded that every kilometer we ride takes us across the traditional and unceded territories of Indigenous Peoples who have stewarded these lands for generations.
On this National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, we pause to honour the children, families, and communities whose lives were forever changed by the residential school system.
Our team rides with hearts open — to listen, to learn, and to walk alongside Indigenous communities as we seek a future built on understanding, respect, and reconciliation.
We believe that honouring the past means acknowledging the truths of history, while moving forward with humility and compassion.
Together, we can create a path that uplifts every child and strengthens every community we serve across Vancouver Island.
